General Requirements Ensure enhancement of system reliability and efficiency by developing scripts like REXX and others and utilizing tools (IBM System Automation, OPC/MVS) to automate routine operational tasks, monitoring, and incident management. They focus on reducing manual intervention, optimizing z/OS performance, and ensuring high availability. Installation & Upgrades - Install and maintain storage related software and utilities - Support storage hardware upgrades and firmware updates - Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and support Incident & Problem Management - Provide L2/L3 support for storage related incidents - Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes - Ensure timely closure of incidents as per SLA Change & Compliance Management - Raise and implement changes through CAB process - Maintain documentation for storage configurations and procedures - Ensure compliance with audit, security, and organisational standards Optimisation - Develop and implement automation scripts for storage operations - Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual effor Wat neem je mee Must-haves - Product Migration Experience from CA tools/SW to IBM SW/Tools. - CA OPS/MVS Event Management and Automation to IBM Tivoli System Automation - Strong experience in Mainframe Automation skills. - Knowledge of OPS/MVS, IBM SA - Experience with writing REXX. - Basic understanding of z/OS system, JCL, and batch processing Wat krijg je Remote working "Talent when you need i...
