Your responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative: Inbound and outbound shipments You'll load and unload vans and trucks, check shipment labels and place packages in the right location so every shipment enters the correct process. Sorting packages You'll sort packages by postcode and destination, making sure each container or roll cage is correctly prepared and ready to leave on time. Building and loading containers You'll prepare roll cages, stack packages safely and securely, and make sure everything is ready for the next step in the delivery process. Safety and quality You'll keep an eye out for damaged packages, follow safety procedures and use the correct lifting techniques to work safely and responsibly. Working as a team Each shift starts with a short team briefing where you'll go over the planning and priorities for the morning. You'll work closely with your colleagues and help each other complete the sorting process on time.
