About this role
For our client in Geleen, we are looking for a technically minded Production Worker who enjoys working in an environment where safety, accuracy and technology are key. In this role, you will work at the inspection station, where acetylene gas cylinders are inspected, sorted and prepared for use. You ensure that all cylinders comply with the applicable regulations and safety standards. The work mainly consists of routine activities, combined with technical tasks such as maintenance and hands-on mechanical work. What’s your job about? Sort gas cylinders by type, country of origin and specific regulations Inspect cylinders for defects and check the operation of valves Inspect and, if necessary, reject gas cylinders according to applicable guidelines Operate machines such as shot-blasting and spraying equipment Modify and connect gas cylinders that are linked in series based on customer orders Carry out minor technical maintenance and mechanical work on machines and installations Work according to strict safety and quality regulations regarding acetylene gas There is also another position within the production department where you will be responsible for fitting caps onto gas cylinders and preparing certificates. What skills do you have? MBO-level working and thinking ability (vocational education level) Preferably experience in a technical or production environment Technical understanding and an interest in hands-on mechanical work A forklift certificate and/or VCA certificate is an advantage You work accurately and have a strong sense of responsibility, especially given the safety regulations surrounding gas cylinders You have no problem performing routine work What do you get in return?
