Share your talents As Retail Technology IT Architect, you are responsible for shaping and evolving the technology architecture that supports our stores. You ensure that our retail technology landscape is reliable, scalable, secure and future-proof, while remaining closely aligned with the needs of our stores and the wider Retail Technology strategy. In this role, you combine strong technical knowledge with a clear understanding of retail operations. You act as the architectural owner of the end-to-end store technology landscape and ensure that technology choices and solutions are coherent, supportable and aligned with our long-term direction. You will work across Retail, Store IT, Enterprise IT, suppliers and project teams to define architecture principles, drive standardization and enable continuous improvement across the store environment. You understand how technology is used in practice and know how to translate business and operational needs into practical architectural solutions. Whether it concerns POS devices, mobile technology, payment solutions, networking, digital signage or store infrastructure, you ensure that all components fit together as part of a scalable and well-governed technology landscape. You will also play a key role in technology lifecycle management and problem management, identifying recurring issues, assessing structural improvements and ensuring that lessons from operations are reflected in our architecture and standards.
