Paul de Ruiter Architects is seeking an experienced freelance PR and communications consultant for approximately 16 hours a week to collaborate with us on a long-term basis. Sustainability is embedded in the DNA of our B-Corp certified architecture firm. We constantly seek sustainable and innovative solutions to architectural challenges and aim to contribute to a future-proof built environment through our projects. This creates a wealth of stories and PR opportunities. We are looking for someone to help us identify these more clearly, tell them more effectively, and showcase them more strategically. A role with impact We are building a small communications team that brings together diverse areas of expertise. As a freelance PR and communications consultant, you will play a key role in this team. - Together with your small team, you will develop and oversee the firm's communications strategy. - You will be more than just an advisor; we are looking for someone who enjoys bridging the gap between strategy and execution. - You will translate our strategic direction into concrete PR and communications activities, identify opportunities to increase the visibility of the firm and our projects, and contribute ideas regarding our positioning and profile. - You will maintain and cultivate relevant contacts with the media and other stakeholders, and know which stories appeal to the national press. - Additionally, you will work closely with our junior communications and PR officer, acting as a sounding board, helping to set priorities, and providing coaching where needed.
