Full training will be provided in sell-side FX analysis and market commentary. Direct experience with financial markets is a bonus but fresh graduates with a strong background in economics are equally welcome to apply. The successful candidate will have an enthusiasm for financial markets, strong quantitative and macroeconomic skills, and exceptional communication skills. A postgraduate degree in economics, econometrics, or finance is desirable. Familiarity with macroeconomic forecasting, especially time series econometrics is desirable. Comprehensive media training will be provided with the intention of creating a long-term resident economic and financial market expert for the Netherlands. During the training period the objective will be to become familiar with foreign exchange and global markets and economics in general, and be taught how to formulate engaging opinions and research for media and the wider public.
