Operations Manager II Why this role matters Exciting opportunity - Operations Manager, Hazeldonk, Breda! We are recruiting for an Operations Manager to join our new site in Hazeldonk, Breda. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the site, ensuring strong performance, customer satisfaction, team development and continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the culture, processes and performance of a new operation while delivering excellent service for our customer. How you'll make an impact - Partner with the Site Manager and Operations Director to deliver operational strategies that meet company and customer expectations. - Lead daily distribution and light manufacturing activities, ensuring safe, efficient and accurate operations. - Manage performance, develop teams through coaching and training, and support positive employee relations. - Drive customer metrics across cost, quality and responsiveness, taking corrective action where required. - Implement and coach Lean Warehousing System processes and support start-up activities with cross-functional teams. - Plan staffing, scheduling and workloads to support all shifts and accounts. - Maintain safety, compliance, process documentation and environmental improvement standards across the operation. What you'll bring to GXO - Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, with strong analytical skills. - Experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations or a similar service-based or production environment. - Minimum of 5 years' ...
