About this role
As a Road Worker, you will be involved in a variety of roadworks and sewerage projects throughout the Antwerp area. Together with your colleagues, you will contribute to the safe and high-quality execution of the works on site. Your responsibilities: Carrying out groundworks and foundation works. Installing house connections and sewerage infrastructure. Placing curbstones, drainage gullies and other infrastructure components. Performing excavation and levelling works. Assisting the team with various road construction and infrastructure activities. Using tools, materials and equipment correctly and safely. Helping maintain quality standards, safety procedures and a clean work environment. You will receive hands-on training and guidance from experienced colleagues on site. We are looking for a candidate who: Enjoys working outdoors and performing physical work. Is motivated to learn a skilled trade within the construction industry. Understands and follows safety instructions accurately. Holds a valid VCA certificate or is willing to obtain one. Possesses a valid Category B driving licence. Has a good command of Dutch. Is reliable, punctual and works well within a team. Is willing to start work early in the morning. Experience in roadworks, groundworks or infrastructure projects is a plus, but not required.
