Technical Assistant (m/f/d) in Translational Animal Biotechnology Full- and Part-time | terminated (12 months) | TUM Hospital Animal models of human disease are essential for studying disease pathogenesis and developing novel therapeutic approaches. To support the generation of transgenic large-animal models for cardiovascular research, we are seeking a technical assistant to contribute to laboratory-based research activities. Your responsibilities: - Application of laboratory methods relevant to somatic cell cloning (cell sorting, microinjection, SCNT, gene targeted techniques, embryo cultivation) - Documentation of work e.g. in accordance with biosafety requirements - Maintenance and upkeep of laboratory equipment - Supporting lab management (e.g. procurement and ordering of laboratory supplies) - Supervising students and apprentices Your profile: - Completed training as a biological technical assistant (BTA) or a bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in biology - Several years of hands-on experience in embryological techniques relevant to somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT) is an essential requirement for this position. - Solid practical experience in molecular biology - Careful and complete documentation of experiments. - Strong English skills - Precision, dedication, and teamwork are second nature to you.
