Westar has an opportunity for a highly motivated and responsible Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join its team! Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):-Troubleshooting and repairing of heavy equipment, trucks and trailers for proper performance -Detect faults and malfunctions-Testing repaired equipment for proper performance-Maintain cleanliness of work area-Problem solving when dealing with unexpected situations -Must follow all safety procedures Competencies: Skills and Knowledge-Thorough knowledge of heavy equipment -Knowledge of semi truck and trailers-Attention to detail-Professional -Positive and personable-Polite and courteous-Effective communicator -Conscientious-Diligent-Team player-Adaptable Qualifications1-2 Years experience Join our team!
