Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) ? Full-Time
*Children?s Land Learning Center* is currently hiring *Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs)* to join our dedicated and professional team at our *Scarborough location*.
Under the direction of the Supervisor, the RECE will work collaboratively with team members to plan and implement age-appropriate programs that support children?s *cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development*.
Programs will be developed in accordance with the organization?s program statement and philosophy, the *Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA)*, and recognized early learning frameworks, including *Early Learning for Every Child Today (ELECT), How Does Learning Happen?, Quality First*, and *Public Health guidelines*.
The RECE will also be responsible for building and maintaining positive, respectful, and professional relationships with children, families, and team members.
Responsibilities
* Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities and programs. * Support children?s cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development. * Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. * Observe and document children?s learning and development. * Work collaboratively with other educators and the Supervisor. * Build and maintain positive relationships with children and families. * Follow all applicable CCEYA, licensing, health and safety, and centre policies and procedures. * Perform other duties as assigned.
