*Responsibilities*
* Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and hands-on inspection techniques. * Perform repairs on automotive systems such as engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components. * Use power tools and hand tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components efficiently. * Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements. * Read technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or in a similar role with dealership experience preferred. * Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software. * Ability to lift heavy parts or equipment safely during maintenance tasks; heavy lifting experience is essential. * Familiarity with electrical systems and schematics for troubleshooting complex issues. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
