*Job Summary* We are seeking a motivated Carpenter Helper to assist skilled carpenters and construction teams in various residential projects. *Duties*
* *Assist senior carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials according to project specifications* * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans under supervision * Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment safely and effectively * Assist with framing, flooring, painting, finishing, siding installation, and other construction tasks as directed * Perform demolition, surface preparation, and restoration work as required * Handle and move construction materials safely to support project timelines * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area * Follow all workplace and construction safety protocols at all times * *Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working on ladders or scaffolding* * Handyman experience or general construction background is advantageous * Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety and quality standards * *Skills* * *Basic knowledge of woodworking, framing and finishing installation techniques* * Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation for construction tasks * Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing in hot and cold environments or working at heights * Handyman experience or general construction background is advantageous * Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work effectively within a team * Eagerness to learn new skills related to restoration projects and construction safety procedures
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
