Roxy?s Restaurant & Lounge in _*Oak Bluff*_ is looking for a reliable and capable *Part-Time Cook* to join our kitchen team.
We?re a busy, family-run restaurant, and we?re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up when they?re scheduled, and can become a dependable part of our team. The right person will be comfortable multitasking, working independently, staying organized during busy services, and solving problems as they come up.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items consistently and efficiently * Work independently on a kitchen station once trained * Manage multiple orders and priorities during busy periods * Complete food prep and restock ingredients and supplies as needed * Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures * Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary kitchen throughout the shift, including equipment, work surfaces and floors * Complete routine cleaning and side duties during quieter periods * Complete opening and closing kitchen duties as assigned * Assist with dishes and general kitchen cleanup when needed * Communicate and work well with both the kitchen and front-of-house teams * Help with general kitchen duties as needed

* Reliable and dependable * Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills * Comfortable working independently * Able to stay organized and productive in a fast-paced environment * Willing to take initiative and find productive tasks during quieter periods * Evening and weekend availability * Some availability for occasional daytime shifts * Previous kitchen experience is an asset, but *we are willing to train the right person*
