Hestia Construction is a growing Alberta-based general contractor specializing in seniors living, healthcare, and multi-family residential construction. We are seeking an experienced *Human Resources Advisor* to support our corporate and project teams through all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

*About the Role*
Reporting directly to the Vice President, the Human Resources Advisor will act as a trusted partner to management, providing expertise and support in recruitment, employee relations, workforce planning, policy development, benefits administration, and employee development initiatives.
*Key Responsibilities*
*Recruitment & Talent Acquisition*
* Manage full-cycle recruitment for corporate and site-based positions. * Develop strategies to attract top talent across all areas of the business.
*Employee Relations & HR Support*
* Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters. * Assist with performance management, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution. * Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies. * Support employee engagement and recognition initiatives.
*Human Resources Administration*
* Maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee records. * Coordinate employee benefits administration and onboarding activities. * Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics to support business decisions. * Assist with workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.
*Training & Development*
* Support the development and implementation of employee training programs. * Assist leadership in identifying growth and development opportunities for employees. * Promote a positive workplace culture focused on continuous improvement.
*Qualifications*
* Minimum 3-5 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or advisor role. * Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related discipline. * Strong knowledge of Alberta employment legislation and HR best practices. * Experience supporting managers and employees in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Experience in the construction industry is considered a strong asset. * CPHR designation or working toward designation is considered an asset. * Valid driver's license.
