*Duties*
* Measure and prepare surfaces accurately for tile installation using hand tools and construction techniques * Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine layout and design specifications * Cut tiles precisely using hand tools such as tile cutters, saws, and nippers to fit specific spaces * Lay tiles systematically, ensuring proper spacing, alignment, and adhesion for a seamless finish * Apply grout, caulking, and sealants to secure tiles and prevent water infiltration or damage * Perform surface preparation tasks including leveling floors or walls with carpentry skills before tile installation * Conduct quality checks throughout the process to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications
*Experience*
* Proven experience in construction or handyman work with a focus on flooring installation or tile laying * Skilled in using hand tools commonly employed in tile installation and carpentry tasks * Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and layout plans effectively * Familiarity with flooring materials, surface preparation techniques, and finishing processes such as caulking * Prior experience with blueprint reading and interpreting construction documents is highly desirable * Strong background in general construction practices with an emphasis on precision craftsmanship
