About this role
The Feed Mill Operator is responsible for the safe, productive and efficient production operations of the facility. The Feed Mill Operator is responsible for the production, handling and storage of various feed products. Daily duties include, but are not limited to, receiving & shipping of Bulk Materials, premixing and operating machinery. QUALIFICATIONS:- Valid drivers license - Familiar & comfortable with computers. - Must be able to work shift work.- Fireman's, 5th or 4th Class Power Engineering ticket is an asset but not required.- Agriculture experience desirable, but not requiredSKILLS/KNOWLEDGE: - Display high level of initiative, effort, commitment towards completing assignments efficiently- Excellent verbal communication & multi-tasking- Strong organizational skills- Ability to adapt quickly and meet deadlines- Ability to work as a team- Ability to problem solve in situations involving several concrete variables in standardized situations WHAT WE OFFER:$2.00/hr night shift premium$1.00/hr evening shift premiumBoot Allowance each year$250 Company Meat Package per year (Pork Products) Thank you for your interest in Leroy Feeds Ltd.
