Local Edmonton and Calgary area projects, plus out of town camp rotations. Hours 40 to 70 hours per week, with overtime available Compensation 3rd Year: $36.00 per hour. • 2nd Year: $30.00 per hour. The Role GrizzlyTrek is seeking 2nd and 3rd Year Apprentice Scaffolders to join our valued client's team on commercial and industrial projects in the Edmonton and Calgary areas. This is a full-time, permanent position offering steady hours, overtime, and a clear path toward your Journeyman ticket. Our client is busy and building crews in both cities, on local projects and out of town camp work. You will work under journeyman supervision, build hours toward certification, and gain industrial scaffolding experience that carries across the trade. What You'll Do       Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffold under journeyman supervision       Carry, sort, and stage scaffold components on commercial and industrial sites       Learn to read scaffold drawings, load specifications, and tagging requirements       Work at heights with fall protection in place at all times       Assist with rigging and hoisting materials to and from elevated work areas       Take part in hazard assessments, toolbox talks, and site safety reporting       Keep work areas clean, organized, and clear of trip hazards       Travel to out of town camp projects as project schedules require What You Bring       Registered 2nd or 3rd year scaffolding apprentice, or equivalent hours in the trade       Valid safety tickets, including CSTS, Fall Protection, and WHMIS       Comfortable working at heights and lifting scaffold components repeatedly       Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all conditions       Reliable, hard working, and able to take direction from journeymen       Available for local work in Edmonton or Calgary, plus out of town camp rotations Preferred Qualifications       Valid driver's license and reliable transportation       Previous industrial, turnaround, or shutdown site experience       Additional site tickets such as Confined Space, H2S Alive, or Aerial Work Platform       Commitment to completing your apprenticeship and earning a Journeyman ticket Work Environment       Commercial and industrial sites across the Edmonton and Calgary areas, plus out of town camp projects       Outdoor work at heights, year round, in all Alberta weather conditions       Camp accomm
