About this role
Established physician-run sports medicine clinic looking to grow our physiotherapy team. Consistent new patient referrals, flexible scheduling, mentoring from senior FCAMPT physiotherapist, on site medical doctor for patient reassessments, as required. In office ultrasound, on site x-ray. Therapist must put an emphasis on manual therapy and exercise. Multiple in clinic modalities available to treat patients including: therapeutic ultrasound, TENS, interferential current, Gameready. Use of Physitrack for exercise prescription and tracking. Telus CHR EMR for easy documentation and interprofessional communication.
* Registered and in good standing with College of Physiotherapists Ontario * One-year clinical experience preferred, not required * Up to date on latest research * Strong communication skills * Commitment to professionalism ? punctuality, high level of time management, respect for patients and maintenance of appropriate documentation * Team player * Energetic people person * Ability to easily build rapport with patients * High level of comfort with manual techniques and exercise prescription * Comfort, knowledge and expertise working in sports therapy * Ability to develop goals of care for patients & create individualized treatment plans * Ability to perform dynamic assessments on patients and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Pay
Competitive remuneration. Pay split to be discussed upon interview, based on qualifications and experience
Part time, Monday to Friday, flexible shift work- ability to transition to full time
