About this role
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Operate asphalt paver safely and efficiently * Control mat depth, slope and grade * Monitor material flow and temperature * Communicate effectively with crew members, truck drivers and other parties to ensure jobs are done right and on time * Perform regular daily inspections and preventative maintenance on the paver. Report any mechanical issues to management * Maintain high quality finish and productivity standards
*Requirements:*
* Minimum 3 years operating a paver required. * Strong understanding of grades, crown, and compaction processes * Ability to rad site plans and elevations * Valid drivers license and own transportation is required. * Reliable, punctual and team-oriented * Comfortable working long hour seasonal hours
