*Duties*

* Collect blood samples from patients using proper venipuncture techniques while adhering to safety and infection control protocols. * Ensure correct labeling, handling, and documentation of specimens to maintain sample integrity. * Provide compassionate patient care by explaining procedures clearly and addressing patient concerns professionally. * Prepare patients for specimen collection by verifying identity and ensuring comfort throughout the process. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy areas, following strict sanitation standards. * Assist laboratory staff with processing and transporting specimens as needed. * Follow all regulatory guidelines and medical terminology standards to ensure compliance and accuracy in specimen collection.

*Qualifications*

* Prior experience in clinic or laboratory environments is highly desirable. * Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques with demonstrated ability to perform venipuncture confidently. * Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to laboratory procedures and patient care. * Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing compassionate patient interactions. * Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. * Certification in phlebotomy or related healthcare training is required * Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and infection control practices is essential.
