Job Description - Responsible for the effective operation of the mechanical systems and taking the initiative to repair equipment that requires attention to prevent downtime- Repair or replace defective machinery parts- Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up- Installation or assembly of machinery and equipment- Completing Preventative Maintenance Work Orders by assigned completion date- Keep all maintenance areas clean and in order- Responsible for your own tools at all times- Responsible for following company HACCP policies and procedures to ensure product quality- Carry out all duties in a safe manner- Read and understand manuals and troubleshooting procedures on new equipment- Any other duties as assigned Qualifications - Millwright certification or registered apprenticeship would be considered a strong asset- TIG-welding experience would be considered a strong asset.- Mechanicallly inclined, salary based on experience/certifications- Must be available for multiple shift rotations including day, mid-week, afternoons and night.- Must have a proven track record of good attendance- Must be physically fit- Must be able to work with minimal supervision- Must be able to understand both verbal and written English Salary: $25.78 - $41.81 per hour (dependent on level of certification, example: Red-seal JourneypersonShift Premium: $0.90 per hour Benefits: Dental careDisability insuranceExtended health careLife insuranceOn-site parkingVision care Schedule: 8 hour shift Rotational Supplemental pay types:-Overtime pay Work Location: In person
