About this role
Responsibilities: - Assist customers with their purchases and offer suggestions- Process customer transactions in the POS system- Receiving of material and entering inventory into POS system- Loading and unloading material into vehicles manually and by forklift- Processing customer payments- Light building and yard maintenance (ie: cleaning, lighting, maintaining fluid levels in truck and forklift, snow removal, yard maintenance)Qualifications:- Valid class 5 Drivers License (Drivers abstract is required)- Able to safely lift up to 75 lbs- Experience in home repair or construction an asset- Lift Truck Operator certificate an asset. Willing to train- Ability to communicate efficiently both verbally and in writing with customers and staff- The successful candidate will be required to complete a Criminal Record check prior to beginning employment.- Basic computer literacy- 25 hours per week guaranteed. Increasing through peak season(April - November)
