About this role
The Caf Server provides friendly, efficient customer service to Boomtown Caf patrons. Assists with short-order service and works collaboratively with Caf staff to ensure a positive experience for all WDM guests. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Completes opening and closing procedures for the Caf and cash register. Prepares menu boards. Provides exemplary customer service to caf patrons. Greets, seats, and takes customer orders; facilitates take out orders. Serves prepared food and beverages to customer tables. Processes payments accurately, following established procedures. Restocks coffee machines, coolers, replenishes napkins, condiments, and other essentials. Clears tables, washes dishes, and operates the dishwasher (loading/unloading). Monitors supply levels and adds items to the grocery list when needed. Contributes to shopping list to maintain inventory of supplies.Qualifications/Skills: Experience working in a restaurant, caf, or other customer service role is an asset. Experience handling cash and using a till or point-of-sale system is an asset. Food Handler Certification is an asset.Additional Information: Work Schedule: Minimum of four (4) 7.5 hour shifts per week with the possibility or more during peak seasons. Salary Range: $17.06 - $19.78 an hour. Shifts fall on Monday through Sunday, 8:00 am - 3:30.
