Quick Games Hub is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and hands-on *Bowling Alley & Entertainment Centre Manager* to oversee our day-to-day operations and deliver an outstanding guest experience.
The Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, managing bowling operations, maintaining safety and cleanliness standards, handling customer concerns, coordinating parties and group bookings, and ensuring the facility operates efficiently.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced entertainment environment and can lead a team while creating a fun, safe, and welcoming experience for families, groups, and guests of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the daily operations of Quick Games Hub, including bowling lanes, front counter, guest services, parties, events, and other entertainment areas. * Open and close the facility according to company procedures, including cash handling, POS reconciliation, security checks, and end-of-day reporting. * Supervise, schedule, train, and motivate team members to maintain excellent customer service standards. * Ensure bowling lanes, scoring systems, bowling balls, rental shoes, seating areas, and equipment are properly maintained and ready for guests. * Monitor lane operations and respond quickly to basic lane or equipment issues, escalating technical problems when required. * Welcome guests, manage reservations and walk-ins, assign lanes, process payments, and provide clear information regarding games, pricing, promotions, and facility rules. * Coordinate birthday parties, corporate events, school groups, leagues, private bookings, and other special events. * Handle customer questions, complaints, refunds, and service issues professionally and efficiently. * Maintain appropriate staffing levels based on reservations, events, weekends, holidays, and expected customer traffic. * Monitor cash, inventory, supplies, rental shoes, and other operational items while helping control costs and reduce unnecessary expenses. * Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure bowling lanes, washrooms, seating areas, entrances, counters, and common areas remain clean and presentable. * Enforce all Quick Games Hub safety rules and ensure employees and guests follow facility policies. * Complete incident reports when required and respond appropriately to injuries, unsafe behaviour, damaged equipment, or emergencies. * Ensure children and younger guests use bowling equipment safely and that appropriate supervision requirements are followed. * Prevent unsafe behaviour, including entering restricted lane or mechanical areas, throwing bowling balls improperly, running on approaches, or interfering with other guests. * Monitor guest conduct and respectfully address disruptive, aggressive, intoxicated, or unsafe behaviour when necessary. * Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, coaching, and ongoing staff development. * Maintain accurate operational records and communicate important issues, incidents, maintenance requirements, and business performance to ownership/management. * Help develop promotions and initiatives that increase repeat visits, group bookings, parties, leagues, and overall revenue. * Work collaboratively with ownership and other team members to continuously improve the Quick Games Hub customer experience.
Bowling Alley Safety & House Rules
The Manager will be responsible for ensuring staff consistently communicate and enforce facility rules, including:
* Guests must remain behind the foul line and must not walk onto bowling lanes. * Bowling balls must only be rolled down the assigned lane and never thrown or lofted intentionally. * Guests must wait until pins and lane equipment have completed their cycle before bowling. * Children must be appropriately supervised by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult. * Only one bowler should be on the approach at a time. * Guests must keep food and beverages away from bowling approaches and other restricted areas. * Appro
