Donald's Fine Foods is a family owned specialty meat manufacturer with six plants across British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan, operating for over 30 years. We're hiring a Millwright / Industrial Mechanic for our North 49 Foods team in Moose Jaw.
*About the Role*
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Millwright / Industrial Mechanic installs, maintains, and repairs plant machinery and equipment. You'll work as part of the Maintenance Team to keep the facility running safely and in full regulatory compliance.
*What You'll Do*
* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment failures * Complete scheduled work orders and preventive maintenance * Determine required parts for repairs and replacements * Dismantle, modify, and maintain equipment as needed * Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and plans * Test new and existing machinery to maximize output * Operate hand tools, power tools, meters, and material handling equipment * Follow all maintenance procedures and regulatory codes * Report safety and quality issues promptly
*What You Bring*
* Journeyperson Millwright Certification (required) * Strong communication skills * Reliable, accountable, and able to manage time independently * Strong problem solving ability * Physical ability to lift and carry equipment * Manufacturing experience an asset
