About this role

Cornerstone Physiotherapy is thrilled to be seeking a talented and passionate Registered Physiotherapist for our Post-Infection Rehabilitation virtual team. We have created one of the first programs of its kind to address the ongoing concerns of patients living with complex chronic illnesses through virtual rehabilitative care.

Cornerstone is connected to a global network of Long COVID and chronic illness researchers which have informed the development of this program. All specialized training and ongoing clinical mentorship will be provided by experienced Cornerstone clinicians. The demand for this population is growing, and we are looking for a team member who brings clinical curiosity, empathy, and a strong desire to make a meaningful difference

The program is delivered completely remotely through Telehealth software, allowing you the flexibility to work from home. We use a proprietary platform and app to monitor patients? biometric data and prescribe movement and exercise when appropriate.

*Role Requirements:*

* Conduct specialized virtual evaluations for orthostatic intolerance, autonomic dysregulation, and exertion tolerance. * Prescribe safe, symptom-contingent physical strategies, gentle mobility, and orthostatic conditioning aligned with Post-Exertional Malaise (PEM) / Post-Exertional Symptom Exacerbation (PESE) guidelines. * Guide autonomic nervous system regulation, breathing exercises, and heart rate monitoring/pacing strategies. * Educate clients on physical pacing, exertion management, and data-monitoring techniques. * Collaborate closely with team OTs and Dietitians to deliver individualized, holistic and patient-centered care plans.

* *Type:* Part Time Employee * *Shift Requirement:* Availability for a minimum of *2 clinical shifts per week* * *Hours:* Minimum requirement of *10 hours per week* (with room to grow as patient demand expands)

*Qualifications:*

* Must reside in Ontario * Active registration in good standing with the *College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO)* * Proof of professional malpractice liability insurance * Strong communication skills and comfort delivering clinical care via video telehealth

Pay: $72.50-$98.00 per hour
