We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dog Walker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and exercise for dogs in our community. As a Dog Walker, you will ensure that each dog receives the attention and activity they need while maintaining a positive relationship with their owners. This position requires a love for animals, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. We are seeking someone for 2-3 days a week, schedule is a little flexible for the right candidate.
*Duties*
* Walk dogs of various sizes and temperaments, ensuring their safety and well-being during outings. * Walking multiple dogs at once for groups or able to work solo for private walks * Maintain a consistent schedule for walks, adhering to the specific needs of each dog and their owner. * Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior, health, and any concerns that may arise during walks. * Keep accurate records of walks completed, including duration and any notable observations about the dogs. * Ensure all dogs are leashed properly and follow local leash laws during walks. * Clean up after dogs during walks to maintain cleanliness in the community.
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience with dog handling or pet care is required. * Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners. * Ability to manage multiple dogs at once while ensuring their safety. * Must be physically fit to handle long walks and active dogs. * *Reliable vehicle to travel between clients' homes is a requirement.* * Must be available for flexible scheduling, including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed but your schedule will be consistent each day once you give us your availability. * A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care is essential.
