*Licensed Optician ? Carleton Place*
We're a new location inside the Carleton Place Regional Health Hub, with an optometrist clinic on site weekly. The role is dispensing-focused: measurements, fittings, lens consultation and patient care. Store management, ordering and reporting are handled separately. Full-time or part-time, with flexibility for the right person.
*What you'll do*
* Interpret prescriptions and dispense eyewear and contact lenses * Take all measurements required for prescription eyewear * Fit, adjust and repair frames * Advise patients on lens options, coatings and frame selection * Verify finished eyewear against prescription and handle remakes * Support insurance and direct billing submissions * Provide technical guidance to our optical staff
*What you need*
* Current registration with the College of Opticians of Ontario, in good standing
Assets: contact lens fitting certification, refracting licence, direct billing experience.
