About this role
The Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers is seeking applications for the position of Registered Nurse (RN) to work at the Massey Medical Clinic. Reporting to the Clinic Manager, the RN will function within the job description of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with the College of Nurses Standards of Nursing Practice for Registered Nurses.
*Qualifications for the position include:*
* Completion of RN program with current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario * Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of general medicine * Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) * Able to perform medical tasks delegated by the Physicians? or the Nurse Practitioner * Good organizational and time management skills, attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload * Demonstrated ability to function effectively as a part of a collaborative team with other interdisciplinary health care providers * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Knowledge of Consent and Release of Information legislation * Confidentiality in this office setting is imperative * Phlebotomy skills considered an asset

* 37.5 hrs/week
*Wage: *
* $39.83 -$46.17 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
