Job Summary
Source Electrical Services Ltd. is a busy and growing electrical contractor based in Kelowna, BC. We are currently seeking an experienced *Electrical Foreman* to join our team *immediately* for long-term employment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated electrician who is ready to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to *lead projects, manage crews, take on increased responsibility, and advance within the company* as we continue to grow.
We are looking for someone who is confident running electrical projects, takes pride in their work, and can lead a team while maintaining a safe, professional, and productive job site.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee electrical installations from start to completion. * Supervise and coordinate electricians and apprentices on site. * Run jobs independently and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. * Coordinate materials, manpower, equipment, and site requirements. * Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications. * Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. * Ensure compliance with current *Canadian Electrical Code, BC regulations, and company safety standards*. * Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions in the field. * Coordinate with customers, general contractors, suppliers, and other trades. * Maintain a professional and positive working relationship with clients and team members. * Complete required documentation, site reports, and project updates. * Provide mentorship and direction to electricians and apprentices.
Qualifications & Experience
* Journeyman Electrician certification preferred. * Proven experience as an *Electrical Foreman, Lead Hand, or Electrical Supervisor*. * Strong knowledge of current electrical codes and installation practices. * Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Fire alarm experience is considered an asset. * Self-motivated and able to work independently. * Strong communication and leadership skills. * Professional attitude with excellent attention to detail. * Valid driver's licence. * Willingness to travel for occasional out-of-town projects.
