About this role
* Loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and cargo safety * Completing daily truck logs and submitting accurate mileage and trip reports * Complying with all company policies and government transportation regulations * Securing flatbed cargo using appropriate tie-down methods and tarping when required * Handling hazardous materials safely in accordance with safety protocols and legal requirements * Communicating effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to coordinate deliveries * Performing basic emergency repairs on the road, such as patching tires or fixing minor mechanical issues * Conducting long-haul flatbed operations across regional and national routes
