About this role
Responsibilities Include:
* Assess clients, perform new therapy starts including but not limited to CPAP, APAP, BiPAP, Oxygen, Suction, Compressors, Trachestomy Care * Provide equipment as per physician?s orders * Plan daily & weekly servicing, set ups both in house & in office, work around existing schedule * Guide clients through the funding process to ensure continuity of funding * Provide follow-up care to respiratory clients * Participate in on-call schedule, minimum of 1-2 weekends per month, minimum of 1 weekday/week * Provide ongoing training and education to clients on safety related issues as they relate to their care. * Educate clients on their condition and their prescribed therapy and follow-up with clients as needed * Ensure that all contact with clients is accurately charted in a timely manner * Provide troubleshooting with medical devices * Provide client education and training on safety related issues as part of delivery of service for all clients. * Responsible to help create and maintain a safe and healthful work environment.
Required Skills
* Hold a valid CRTO License * Drivers License * Computer Skills including Microsoft Office * Experience with EMR an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34.0 ? 40.0 per week
