Guided by these values, the Production Assistant performs various tasks that support the technical, creative and operational aspects of our flagship program, 100 Huntley Street. The PA will contribute to the overall presentation of the finished show, meeting resource, financial, and ministry goals for the organization.

*Qualifications and Experience*
* Post-secondary education in Broadcast production, Media Production, or Television or relevant experience equivalent * Min of 3 years of experience in the broadcast production industry * Able to work well in the deadline-driven and fast-paced, changing environment of broadcast * Proficient with Microsoft software: Word/Excel/Outlook, and Google Docs * Experience using media systems such as EMAM and Playbox * Though some remote work may be available, this role requires on-site and in-office work as well as being able to work flexible hours based on the production schedule.

*Key Responsibilities*
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Timing all aspects of a television production (either in studio or on location), including internal timing of all segments and roll-ins, musical performances, commercial breaks, etc., as well as overall timing of the production. * Providing various administrative support functions, including preparing show rundowns, archival footage and data information as it pertains to content creation for all platforms, as well as the function of sourcing content on/ through the company software. * Providing leadership in programming preparations, working alongside the Line Producer in building program rundowns and organizing content that is distributed on a variety of platforms. * Overseeing the coordination and collection of information required for registering and clearing of all music used on the 100 Huntley Street telecast, as well as any additionally required Crossroads media, and to submit this information to the 4 Performance Rights Organization in North America on a timely basis.
*Specific Duties*
* Ensure that all programs, LIVE and pre-taped, are made available for broadcast at specifically designated times and end at times contractually agreed upon. * Calculate the timing of each rundown. Keep abreast of last-minute changes. Recalculate program times to account for changes and relay the updated information to all crew members. * Prepare and maintain accurate, detailed computer records of all productions and content-related tapings. * Keep record of content as it occurs, noting times, locations, persons involved, topics discussed, durations, promos, bumpers, errors and any other pertinent information for use across all platforms. * Assist the Director of Production during each in-studio production: preparing VTR roll-ins, giving audio cues, alerting the Director to imminent notable occurrences such as musical bridges, name keys, live voice-overs, etc., and timing programs. * Assist the Line Producer in duties relating to the preparation of content creation. * Seek innovativ
