This is a position that treats youth affected by the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The incumbent provides supervision to students in formal clinical practicums. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- 1 yr recent exp. in a community MH setting working w/ children, youth & families- Min 1 yr postgrad recognized clinical exp in community mental health settingEducation- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)Knowledge and Abilities- Highly developed written and oral communication skills- Knowledge of the diversity of cultures, values and traditions- Ability to design, initiate and conduct training for other professionals- Ability to formulate evidence-based intervention based on clinical presentation- Knowledge of assessment, triage, treatment and case management.- Ability to provide public education regarding children/youth mental health issues- Ability to manage a high demand caseload and other work assignments.- Can function independently & as member of interdisciplinary mental health team- Knowledge and practical application of the Mental Health Services Act and H...For more information on this job, please visit the employer's website.
