Controlled Logistics is a global logistics firm tailored to meet all shipping needs, whether by rail, road, or sea for shippers worldwide. We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our growing team.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. position based on 40 hours per week.
Experience: Minimum 1 Year
Duties:
- Dispatch drivers to complete pickups and deliveries for our customers
- Utilize carrier sourcing tools such as Loadlink, DAT on a daily basis
- Negotiate with carriers on shipping lane pricing
- Quoting future shipments for customers
- Dispatch live shipments on the shipment board
- Knowledge in Dry Vam, REEFER, Flatbed, Rolltite, Step Deck equipment
- Ensure on-time service for all pickups and deliveries
- Report driver issues to management
- Receive and manage calls/messages from carriers & customers
- Providing live tracing for all shipments
- Assist on providing custom border solutions on live shipments
- Provide tracing updates to our customers
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of logistics coordination within Canada & U.S
- Knowledge of transportation industry
- Experience in brokering shipments to carriers
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with dispatch management systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
