We are seeking a reliable, heavy-haul *Tri-Axle Roll-Off Truck Driver* to join our team. In this role, you will be dedicated to servicing *construction sites and hauling materials directly to transfer stations across the GTA*, utilizing *40- to 50-yard containers*. Additionally, you will be responsible for safely loading, securing, and transporting construction machinery and equipment to and from various job sites. *Key Responsibilities*
* *Heavy Equipment Operation:* Safely operate heavy-duty *tri-axle roll-off trucks* carrying large *40-yard and 50-yard bins*. * *Machine Mobilization:* Safely load, secure, and transport construction machinery and equipment between job sites and company facilities. * *Site Deliveries & Hauls:* Transport, drop off, and pick up oversized containers specifically at active construction, industrial, demolition, and renovation sites. * *Disposal Runs:* Haul high-volume waste materials and debris safely to local transfer stations and dump facilities across the region. * *Safe Fleet Operation:* Safely navigate heavy, tri-axle vehicles through the GTA highway network, heavy traffic, and the challenging terrain typical of construction zones. * *Load Security & Compliance:* Ensure all large-volume loads are fully tarped and machines are properly chained down before transit. Adhere strictly to MTO regulations, axle weight limits, traffic laws, and site-specific safety protocols. * *Safety Inspections:* Conduct thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (checking fluids, brakes, tires, and lights) with a focus on weight compliance and load security gear.
*Qualifications & Requirements*
* *Licensing:* Valid *DZ Driver?s License*. * *Experience:* Minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy trucks, with direct *tri-axle roll-off* or construction dump truck experience strongly preferred. * *Mobilization Skills:* Proven experience with *machine mobilization*, including loading/unloading equipment and applying correct tie-down procedures (chains/binders). * *Large Load Competency:* Experience handling and maneuvering large-capacity containers (40?50 yard) and managing heavy weight distributions. * *Site Knowledge:* Comfort and familiarity with navigating active, busy construction zones and unloading at transfer stations. * *Driving Record:* Clean and insurable commercial driver?s abstract (CVOR and Driver's Abstract required). * *Physical Fitness:* Ability to handle physically demanding work, strapping/tarping large bins, climbing in/out of the cab, and wearing required PPE.
