The Fleet Services Division of the Department of Public Works is recruiting for a Mechanic II (Automotive Repair Technician) to join the Fleet Services team in New Minas. This is your opportunity to become part of the team who are pivotal in ensuring the Public Works Fleet is running smoothly and safely. Without our Automotive Repair Technician's proactive measures, equipment issues or failures could lead to an interruption of services provided. As the Technician, you are one of our key team players who support the overall safety and efficiency of our provincial road network.

You use specialized tools and equipment located in government facilities designed and equipped for automotive body and assist with field repairs as required.
Primary Accountabilities
As the Automotive Repair Technician, under the general supervision of the Manager, Fleet Services you will complete automotive repairs and rebuild light vehicle modifications to a variety of government mobile machinery a
