We are looking for a Technical Manager who can raise the standards of our maintenance centers and support the performance of our fleet. Your Role As Technical Manager, Maintenance Centers, you will act as the technical reference for our maintenance shops. Your mission will be to ensure equipment reliability, repair quality, consistency in work methods, and continuous improvement in preventive and corrective maintenance practices. What You?ll Do Technical Leadership and Standards • Establish technical repair standards for all maintenance centers. • Define best practices for preventive and corrective maintenance. • Act as the technical reference for supervisors, foremen, and mechanics. Reliability, Diagnostics, and Quality • Analyze recurring breakdowns and identify root causes. • Support complex diagnostics and major mechanical issues. • Implement actions to improve equipment reliability and reduce repeat repairs. Warranties, Manufacturers, and Specialized Suppliers • Oversee technical files related to warranties and manufacturer claims. • Validate key technical quotes and recommendations from external suppliers. • Maintain technical relationships with manufacturers and specialized suppliers. Shop Support and Skills Development • Support workshop teams in resolving technical issues. • Identify technical training needs. • Promote knowledge sharing and the application of best practices. Warranties, Manufacturers, and Suppliers • Oversee technical files related to warranties and manufacturer claims. • Validate technical recommendations and quotes from external suppliers. • Maintain effective technical relationships with manufacturers and specialized suppliers. Fleet Strategy Contribution • Participate in decisions related to replacing, retaining, or acquiring equipment. • Recommend improvements to reduce operating costs. • Support innovation, electrification, and technology improvement projects.
