About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Make made-to-measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications. Fit, alter and repair garments as required. Make, alter or re-style fur garments and accessories. Operate sewing machines or sew by hand. Design patterns to fit measurements. Mark, cut and sew fabric. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Employment terms options: Day. Weekend. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
