About this role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Interpret welding process specifications. Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment. Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes. Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment. Determine weldability of materials. Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products. Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Organized. Team player. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
