About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Dusty. Noisy. Tasks: Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components. Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers. Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place. Repair or replace interior components. Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams. Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment. Area of work experience: Body components. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Does not require Canadian work experience. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
