About this role
Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Direct greenhouse and nursery operations. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Greenhouse cleaning. Harvest seedlings. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Tie and secure plants. Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality. Control reported insect, disease and weed problems. Determine type and quantity of stock to grow. Develop marketing plans. Establish and maintain required environment. Establish work schedules. Hire, train and supervise staff. Maintain financial and personnel records. Order materials and stock. Provide product care and other information and service to customers.
