Measure, mark and cut glass. Position and secure panes in frame. Prepare tenders and quotations. Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors or glass products. Install door, window and other hardware. Instruct apprentices. Repair glass doors and other glass structures. Supervise other workers. Estimate costs and materials. Work from man-lift mobile equipment, cranes and other lifting equipment. Frame fabrication and installation: Curtain wall (stock length material). Curtain wall (prefabricated material). Spandrel panel installations. Aluminum framing members. Entranceways. Glass cutting equipment and techniques: Cutting wheels. Self-lubricating cutters. Circular cutters. Automatic finger pull machine. Cut glass plate manually (straight cuts). Cut glass plate free-hand (curved cuts). Bend glass. Edge glass plates. Laminate glass. Paint glass. Tint glass. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Safety equipment/gear.
