About this role

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: At heights. Confined spaces. Ensure that the installation, maintenance, repair and overhaul of systems meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety. Overhaul aircraft instruments. Repair and overhaul, modify, install and test aircraft electrical systems and equipment. Test electrical, electronic and instrument components. Troubleshoot communications, navigation, and autoflight equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, install and inspect aircraft systems and components. Aircraft experience: Small turboprops. Large turboprops. Type of industry experience: Aircraft manufacturing. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Handling heavy loads. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours. Sound discrimination. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods.
