Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Assemble mechanical equipment. Coach and instruct apprentices. Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Repair or replace defective machinery parts. Estimate costs and materials. Perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
