About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel. Repair roofing systems. Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level. Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Area of specialization: Conventional and inverted built-up system. Modified roofing system. Rigid pre-formed roofing system. Single ply sheet membrane roofing system. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Hand-eye co-ordination. Handling heavy loads. Large workload. Repetitive tasks. Work under pressure. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Employment terms options: Overtime required.
