About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Confined spaces. Noisy. Dusty. Cold/refrigerated. Hot. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Assist in demolishing buildings. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Hand-eye co-ordination. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Do you have experience working in this field?. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Green job: Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
