Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: At heights. Cold/refrigerated. Confined spaces. Dusty. Hot. Wet/damp. Work setting: Construction. Installation. Maintenance. Repair. Service. Testing. Troubleshooting. Tasks: Prepare production and other reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity . Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise workers and projects. Co-ordinate and schedule activities. Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions. Train or arrange for training. Prepare bids. Manage own company. Operate CADD and other computer software systems. Estimate costs and materials. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Read blueprints and electrical schematics. Recommend personnel actions.
