Main duties of the job

The post holder will:

Provide comprehensive primary care services to registered patients. Undertake face-to-face, telephone and online consultations. Assess, diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. Prescribe and review medications in accordance with national and local guidance. Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records. Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team. Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement and audit activities. Contribute to safeguarding and risk management processes. Participate in practice meetings and service development initiatives. Carry out home visits where clinically appropriate, although these are kept to a minimum.Workload

Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established practice serving a diverse patient population in East Birmingham. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced GPs, nurses, clinical pharmacists, and administrative staff to provide safe, effective, and compassionate primary care services.
